A triumphant celebration of the city at the newly relaunched Chicago Architecture Center.

Chicago is known as the city that produced innovations in modern architecture, particularly, the birth of the skyscraper, or ‘talls’. Rising from the ashes of The Great Chicago Fire in 1871, the city became an incubator for creativity, and engineering marvel, in response to the challenge of starting over.

This story, and more, can now be explored at the newly relaunched Chicago Architecture Center. Enter the Chicago Gallery, to find the Chicago Model Experience, a 3D-printed representation of the city featuring 4,000 key buildings, accompanied by a film and interactive projection highlighting key architects, neighborhoods, and innovations throughout time.

It was an absolute pleasure working with the Chicago Architecture Center as a consultant (with Gallagher & Associates) to produce the showcase film that frames the Chicago Model Experience. Congratulations to the team on a successful relaunch!
